FAQ

What is the Norton Gradebook?
The Norton Gradebook collects students' self-test scores from Norton Studyspaces.

How does the Norton Gradebook work?
You register using a valid email address. The system sends a unique password to that email address. You will use this password to access your Gradebook. Share that email address with your students—they will use it when they submit work from a Studyspace to send their scores to your Gradebook.

How do students use the Norton Gradebook?
Students register for a Norton Gradebook account just as professors do. The only difference is that they select "Student" when prompted. They login using their email address and the password sent to them to access to their own result sand track their scores.

What can you do with the Norton Gradebook?
After students submit scores, you can sort by title and chapter, or by student. You can review individual student results, review the questions answered, delete entries, compare your students' results with those of students across the country, and export your students' scores to a CSV file. You can read and score open-ended exercises through the "Exercises" link on your Gradebook homepage.

We hope you find the Norton Gradebook a useful addition to your class. Thank you for your continued support of W. W. Norton, an employee-owned, independent publisher since 1923.
