Overview
The Economics U$A telecourse, one of the most widely subscribed telecourses ever produced, has won unanimous acclaim as an effective and stimulating way to get students excited about economics. Produced by the Educational Film Center in Annandale, Virginia, the twenty-eight half-hour video programs feature expert commentary on a wide range of economic issues, framed in a lively format with original and archival film footage, newspaper clippings, graphics, animation, and music. An update to the video series is now being prepared by the Educational Film Center, with a first installment slated for early 2002.
Revised for this Sixth Edition by Nariman Behravesh of Standard & Poor, Economics U$A approaches economic principles from the ground up, with an emphasis on real-world applications and straightforward exposition.
