College Sales Representative

The Sales Representative position involves traveling to colleges and universities to promote Norton educational materials to the appropriate professors and instructors on those campuses. Employees in this position will develop presentation, public speaking, problem solving, and event-planning skills. While many representatives desire to stay in this position long-term, opportunities exist for further growth in marketing, editorial, or management within Norton college department.
Individuals wishing to apply for this position should think of themselves as self-motivated and be willing to travel. Candidates must be enthusiastic, independent, and persuasive. Successful representatives love books and enjoy reading and learning. Candidates should have a wide range of interests and love to engage in conversations about literature, politics, science, history, and all disciplines in the liberal arts. Computer skills and an understanding of e-media products are advantages.
